2. All non-dispositve motions shall include the written consent of any party consenting to the relief requested. The motion shall also state whether any Party requests oral argument on the Motion.
Judge John Garhart
1. All non-dispositive motions are to be presented for resolution in court each Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. Proof of service of the notice of presentment must be provided.
2. Non-dispositive motions include, but are not limited to, discovery-related motions, motions to amend pleadings and captions, motions to approve settlements and motions for alternate service.
3. Non-dispositive motions that are consented to by the opposing parties may be delivered directly to my chambers with the applicable written consents and proposed order at any time.
4. Prior to scheduling a Wednesday morning Motion Court appearance, counsel should contact my chambers to verify my availability on the intended date of presentation.

1. Non-dispositive motions include, but are not limited to, discovery-related motions, motions to amend pleadings and captions, motions to approve settlements and motions for alternative service.
2. The original motion shall be filed with the Prothonotary's Office. A copy of the motion shall be delivered or mailed to my chambers.
3. The motion should indicate whether or not it is consented to or contested by any of the parties.
4. The Court shall decided whether an argument or hearing is required. Generally, the Court will allow a non-consenting party 20 days to respond to the motion unless circumstances necessitate a shorter response time.
