Reassessment Formal Appeals

Erie County property owners will receive an Official Countywide Reassessment Change Notice in June, 2012. You will have 40 days from the mail date on that Notice to file a Formal Appeal if you do not agree with the value. You may complete the form, print it out, and mail it along with the appropriate non-refundable filing fee to:

You will be notified of your hearing date by mail 20 days prior to the scheduled date. The hearing date cannot be rescheduled, and the filing deadlines will be strictly adhered to. Please refer to page 2 of the form for further information and instructions regarding the formal appeal process.
